What you need to install content
Pre-requisites
- The game: you need the base game for sure, plus any expansion pack or stuff pack as indicated in the custom content's requirements
- Verified that the game version(s) of the CC is compatible with your installed game version(s)
- Plenty of harddisk space, of course.
- Most importantly, the custom content you want installed.
- To download the files from ModTheSims linked in this FAQ, you need to have an account at ModTheSims.
- An archiver program (7Zip, WinRar, or StuffIt) to extract files with.
- The Framework Installer tool or the Resource.cfg file that make up the framework, if you want to install framework manually.
