This guide is all about the infamous nanny.

If your Sims need someone to watch their babies, toddlers, and children, they can hire a Nanny to take care of them while they're out of the home.  Nannies are hired through the phone under the Service menu for fee of 10 simoleons per visit and 15 simoleons per hour.  Sims can choose to hire her for a one-time service or recurring.  For a one-time service, she'll arrive 30 minutes after the Sim calls and will stay for an eight hour shift.  If no teen, adult, or elder is at home at the end of her shift, she'll still stay until someone comes home.  If you choose Recurring, she'll keep track of the caller's schedule (even if their hours change) and show up before your Sim needs to leave the lot.

If no teen, adult, or elder is at home at the end of her shift, she'll still stay until someone comes home. If you choose Recurring, she'll keep track of the caller's schedule (even if their hours change) and show up before your Sim needs to leave the lot.

  • Play with babies, toddlers, and children
  • Autonomously use the changing table, crib, and high chair
  • Clean up after the children and herself
  • Clean in general if there's nothing else to do
