Why can't I buy a car? / How do I build a driveway?
You won't be able to buy a car until you have a driveway to put it on.
Envious has written an excellent tutorial about how to build a normal driveway, or one with a garage. It can be found here. Note that you won't be able to place the driveway is move_objects is on.
