What you need to install content

The game: you need the base game for sure, plus any expansion pack or stuff pack as indicated in the custom content's requirements
Verified that the game version(s) of the CC is compatible with your installed game version(s)
Plenty of harddisk space, of course.
An archiver program (7Zip, WinRar, or StuffIt) to extract files with.
A Resource.cfg file, plus two additional folders in Documents path, that make up the CC framework for .package CC.
Most importantly, the custom content you want installed.
