An NPC is a non-playable character which either offer a variety of services to your Sims or come to your home to fulfill their career needs. There are three main types of NPCs; Service NPCs, Emergency NPCs and Career NPCs. Service NPCs can be hired to make your Sim's life a little easier. While they are working at your home, more interactions are opened up such as tipping them or firing them. Emergency NPCs can perform their duties free of charge.
