The first expansion pack to The Sims 2, University centers around a college theme. Sims now have the ability to go to college, which opens up new career opportunities.

This expansion is the first (but not the last) to introduce Zombies and Sim resurrection. While Zombies are always possible with a cheat or a hack, the easiest in-game way to produce them is to resurrect a Sim with the Resurrect-O-Nomitron and not pay the Grim Reaper a large amount of money.
