Disable Censor Blur
Problem
- How do I disable the censor blur that covers sims when they're naked or using the washroom?
Solution
If you have just the base game (The Sims 2) or the base game and University and you have not applied the University patch, you can use the following cheat:
- intProp censorGridSize 0
If that works and you would like to disable the blur without having to type that every time you play, you can add that cheat to your Userstartup.cheat file.
If you have installed the University patch, or if you have further expansions later than University, this cheat will not work - the deveopers disabled it. However, you can still disable the blur in the following ways:
- Recommended: Quaxi's Censor Blur Remover at SXS2 (18+)
- Use SimPE - Open SimPE and go to the Extra menu, then click Preferences. When the preferences come up, click on SimPE settings. Under the Game Settings heading, uncheck where it says "Blur Nudity"
