• Microphone - Usable, holdable, singable (for pictures): There are a few ways of doing this, and this is pretty much what you're limited to because of animations being very, very hard to modify:
  • Use the karaoke machine from Nightlife. Have your sim pick up the mic and start singing. You can then use the cheat moveObjects on to move the karaoke machine out of the way, or move your sim into another area holding the mic. Your sim will still do the same animations as with the karaoke machine (including leaping off the now-not-there speaker) so it's not perfect, but it works for pics.
  • If you would like your sim to sing with one of the decorative microphones shown above, do the above with the karaoke machine. Then carefully zoom in and pluck the microphone from your sim's hand and delete it. Get one of the decorative microphones, and position your sim and it using the cheats moveObjects on and boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false.
