• Live-In Servants: It is also very easy to create your own live-in maid, butler, nanny or housekeeper with no mods at all. Create a new sim in Create a Sim. Make them look correctly servant-like and give them an appropriate name. Give them full neat points, fairly active, and set the rest however you want. If you have Nightlife, try to set the attractions so they won't be swooning over the boss (unless that's what you want). Add the new sim to the family that needs a servant. Then on the lot, build them a little room of their own and you're pretty much set. They will happily clean the house, gaining fun for doing so. If you want to keep the rest of the family out of their room (and keep them from sleeping in the boss's or boss's kid's bed) you may want to get some keyholder doors or resevable beds. If you would like to simulate the feeling of having the live-in sim as an NPC, you can make them unselectable, so they will continue to live in the house but you cannot control them, using the testingcheatsenabled cheat or the InSIMenator.

Fixes

Fixes for common or even not-so-common bugs/problems within the Sims 2 game.

• Crafting Station Routing Fix: This fix will cause employees that arrive at a crafting station that is in use to find another one to use instead of going elsewhere and goofing off. - Paladin's Place
• Dancing Don't Make You Stinky: With this bug: Sometimes after customers spent any significant amount of time dancing, they would literally stink. This fix alters one small procedure so that dancing will no longer make sims stink. - Paladin's Place
• Fully-functional Custom ToyBoxes in Pre-FFS Games: Fixes the code where the game would only recognize one toybox (before FFS) causing custom toyboxes to only work partially. Fix not needed if your game includes at least one of the following EPs: FFS, GLS, Pets, or any other EP after Pets. - Numenor at MTS2
• Get The Closest Plate Stupid: This fix makes them check the distance to all of the plates on the lot and then choose the closest one to add to the stack. Employees and sims picking up plates on business lots are much more efficient with this fix. - Paladin's Place
• Help Shoppers First: This fix makes NPC employees help shoppers who need help before looking for sims to perform sales interactions on. - Paladin's Place
• Indoor Light for the "OpenMe 2Tile Window": Fixes the glitch with the original Maxis "OpenME" 2Tile window (released with Nightlife) not allowing the light indoor. - Numenor at MTS2
• Managers - Missing Manager Fix: JM Pescado at MATY
• No Free Lunch: Prevents a group meal from serving up plates of food after it is empty. It's been seen where a 6 serving group meal serve up to 12 plates of food. Maxis forgot to check the serving count after the sim has routed to the serving platter or bowl. - Paladin's Place
• Replacement Remote Business Payout Calculation: This fix will replace the remote business payout calculation code. Now when your Sim takes a day off, his business will still make money. - Paladin's Place
• Vampire & Werewolf Fixes: Eliminates random biting of NPCs and fixes some bugs in BLEH!!! and peeking into coffins. Also includes skin coloration and layering fixes, so facepaints, makeups, lipsticks no longer turn blue as well. - Pescado at MATY
