[edit] Correct Location

[edit] Is it installed to the correct location?

You need to put the files into the correct location.

Anything you use to build a house or lot with, or that you put in a house or lot, goes into your Downloads folder:

My Documents/ EA Games/ The Sims2/ Downloads

Anything you use to make or dress a sim with goes into the Downloads folder OR the Saved Sims folder:

My Documents/ EA Games/ The Sims2/ SavedSims

If you only have the base game or the base game and University, make sure that anything used to make or dress a sim is not in a subfolder. It should go directly into Downloads or SavedSims.

If you have all of your items used to make or dress a sim in the Downloads folder and it still doesn't show, try moving it to the SavedSims folder instead.
