No CD Build Mode Issue

Problem

  • Cannot place any walls or foundations whatsoever.

Reason

  • You are using a cracked version of the game. This is a known issue using a "No-CD" crack to play the game without the CD.

Solution

We do not support or condone the use of No-CD cracks (including for legally-owned games) whatsoever at MTS2 or Sims2Wiki. You will not find links here on working No-CD cracks. You must play the game with the CD in the drive for it to work properly. If your game is a proper install from an original game disk and you play with the disk in the drive, it should work just fine.

If you are playing the game as described above and you are only able to place walls up to a certain amount, and then no further, that's something different. Please see:
