Skill Careers
As the name suggests, Skill Careers are jobs associated with specific skills. Once your sim has at least one point in a skill, they can register as self-employed at City Hall. This only applies to those skills from which you can make money, such as writing and inventing.
Promotions in these careers are determined by your sim's earnings.
Gardener
Inventor
Once your sim has learned the Inventing skill, they can register as a self-employed Inventor.
