Sims 3 Talk:Content Lists
Consider allowing users to mark each item with patch version/expansion pack requirements.Rkalanu 10:44, 29 December 2009 (CST)
It would also be great to add a simple thumbs-up/thumbs-down user rating scheme (separate from your editorial recommendations), and tally votes in either category next to the link.Rkalanu 10:44, 29 December 2009 (CST)
Consider adding categories for Plants, Create-A-World Textures, and Sports Rkalanu 09:34, 5 January 2010 (CST)
- Adding download info like that is beyond the scope of the lists - especially since it's not always clear what's required from the site itself. The ratings would be a good idea; but I'm not aware of any suitable mediawiki plugins, and I doubt that any of the staff have both the expertise and time to make one, sadly - adding categories can be done very easily though, if there is content to go in them. I suggest adding CAW textures as a subsection of Modding tools in Programs & Utilities. - whiterider 19:08, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
Hello I was trying to figure out how to help with finding broken links. I have found a few but do not know how to help in fixing them.Ohnothimagen 09:23, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Please add (Broken) at the end, or use the
strikethroughtag to cross out that item. This means that if someone else who comes along knows of an alternative link, they can fix it. :) - whiterider 19:05, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
18+ classification is bigoted.
I'll get off my soapbox in a minute, but I'd quickly like to say that saying sexual/violent/drug-related content is for people who are 18 years of age and older ('adults') discriminates against people under the age of 18 by falsely stating that said content is not appropriate for them due to their age.
I am drunk right now and I don't know this wikis policy on bigotry (specifically ageism and whether the wiki supports it), so I'm not going to edit the page right now, but if someone could tell me whether or not ageism is acceptable on this wiki then I will either edit the page to make it less bigoted if the answer is no, or leave it be if the answer is yes. If I remember to check back.
TSR is Free
With the Sims Resource now completely free, many links now incorrectly have a ($$$) denotation. Rather than editing every single one of them, it might be better to note it on this page as an exception. --D unit (talk) 20:16, 9 May 2014 (EDT)
