Since I upgraded to windows 7 I can't mod in The Sims 3? Can anyone help me?

Hi can anyone help me? I've just bought the sims 3 expansion packs 'world adventures and tech stuff, tried to load it onto my computer and it comes up that it's not of the same origin as my sims 3 game! On futher inspection i now see that my game is from asia! and think this must be the problem, is there anything i can do to overcome this? Please help!

Hey guys.I updated my sims 3 base game but it gave me an error..anyways then i reinstalled sims 3,then generations and it was working until i installed sims 2 diesel stuff pack.it says please re-install the base game. I used to play sims 3 with the expansion packs before but i dont remember just how i made them work..so if anyone could help me I would really appreciate it coz im so tired of searching for answers. thank you.
