[edit] Overview
This tutorial explains the basics of photoskinning/phototexturing by demonstrating how to photoskin a top/shirt from a picture. The same basic technique should work for most clothing.
[edit] What you will need
- Body Shop
- A graphics editing program (Tutorial is written for Paint Shop Pro 9)
[edit] Tutorial
Tutorial - How to make a top out of a picture?
[edit] Prerequisites
This is not a start-to-finish tutorial and will not teach you the basics of making clothing projects. For that, you need to start with more beginner tutorials like Faylen's or Saraswati5's.
[edit] Followups
Sometimes photoskinning is not the best way to make a garment, but you can use bits of photos combined with other techniques to create a much better look.
