DropShadow and Export

The dropshadow is the mesh that determines the surface shadow of out object. Right now our shadow is square, we need to make it round. Then we can export and put everything back in s3pe.

Step 23

Right-click on the flat mesh under your mesh(the dropshadow mesh). Press TAB to go into Edit mode, and press A until all the vertices are selected. In the UV/Image editor, press that little image with the folded corner button, and select the shadow image.

Zoom out a bit(NUM-). Put your cursor over the one island, press G to move it, and X to constrain it to the x axis. Move the island to the left until it is centered over the Dark Circle, and the shadow is centered under your mesh. Press TAB to go back to Object mode.

Step 24

Go to File->Export->Sims 3 MLOD/MODL. Navigate to your project folder and select the grp00000000_clutterTableTissueBox_filebase.s3m2b, and press Export MLOD/MODL. Go to File->Save and name it 'mlod' and save the .blend in the project folder. Open s3pe and reopen the package in you project folder. Select the MLOD resource, right-click on it and select Import from .s3m2b, then select the grp00000000_clutterTableTissueBox_filebase.s3m2b from your project folder, and press Open. Click Yes to the three popups that follow.
