Game Problem - Problem Custom Content

If you have gotten here, then it means that you have tested to see if your custom content was a problem by removing your folders Downloads and SavedSims from My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2. If the problem disappeared when you removed those folders, that confirms that one or more of your custom content downloads is causing the problem you're having.

Don't worry, though - you don't have to delete all your downloads! It's entirely possible to find out which ones are causing the problem, so you can remove just those files and continue playing with all the other files.
