Why is this page here? There is nothing that really differentiates a "Mesh package" from another type other than the contents. I guess it's useful to make a list of "Common types of packages" and list the various things that can go inside them.
For a package type detection mechanism and code on what goes into the various packages, see my DBPFClass code from the DDO.
