How to Grow Cow Plants
Acquire rare Cow Plant seeds to grow your favorite 'Annoying Sim Eraser'.
The Cow Plant was first introduced in The Sims 2 and makes its big comeback with added features in The Sims 4. Watch out — make sure to keep feeding your Cow Plant meat when it’s fully grown, or it might die.
Places to Find a Cow Plant Seed
Travel to the Desert Bloom lot in Oasis Springs, then move toward the public space behind the park where there’s a rock canyon leading to an abandoned mine shaft cave entrance.
Along the rock walls there’s a tiny pond that serves as the source of the shallow stream. Go fishing here and eventually you’ll find a Cow Plant seed.
- You can also find the cow plant seed in the rare plant packet when your sim reaches level 10 in the Gardener major.
Planting and Taking Care of the Cow Plant
Return to your Sim’s home lot, then open up the inventory. Drag the seed onto the ground where you want to plant it.
Once planted, the tiny Cow Plant will need plenty of attention. Water the plants daily, and eventually they’ll grow to full size. Watch the mound of dirt at the base — light brown means the soil is dry and needs watering.
Fully grown Cow Plants are dangerous creatures. They can be fed, and generate rejuvenating milk after chowing down on Sims fooled by their false cake tongues.
