[edit] Problem
Plates are disappearing from my sims' hands, they can't eat their food. As soon as the food is cooked, the plate just POOF disappears.
[edit] Solution
This is a known problem, caused by one specific download which is incompatible with the Open for Business expansion.
The finishcustomfood patch, made by Cathair2005, will cause this problem if you have it installed with Open for Business. You can find it here.
The filename is finishcustomfood.package - Make sure you don't have this in your Downloads folder. Deleting it will solve this problem.
