Issue
- Your Sims can only perform Mean social interactions on one another
- You have no options for any social interactions, and you only get a "No Interactions" tooltip when you click on other Sims
Cause
- You have one or more social interaction mods/hacks that are conflicting with each other
- The social interaction mod/hack worked until you
- patched/updated your game to a newer version
- installed a new expansion or stuff pack
- You installed a outdated social interaction mod/hack that is conflicting with your game version
Solution
- Temporarily move the Mods/Packages folder to your Desktop, delete the Cache Files, and test with a new game to see if the problem persists.
- If you aren't sure how to do this, see the Game Help:Sims 3 Game Problem Guide. This guide is used to solve a variety of problems, mainly to confirm or rule out custom content as the root cause.
- You can try to find the mods/hacks manually by looking in your Mods/Packages folder and removing one or more of them.
- Use Dashboard to find and remove the mods/hacks that are conflicting with each other.
If That Didn't Work...
In nearly every case, a mod/hack was the cause for this issue. If you have removed all custom content or don't have any custom content in your game and the problem still exists, you can post a question in the Game Help Forum.
