Create New shoes for Sims 4 using TSRW
This tutorial will show you how to create a new pair of shoes for Sims 4 using TSRW. It will show you how to clone, extract mesh parts, extract texture files, how to use Milkshape to make new parts. How to create the new mesh UH, HI, Med and Lo mesh parts (Lods in Sims 3), How to make new parts and map them correctly, how to reassign the bones, import them back into the new .wso
You can use this tutorial for any CAS item. Clothing has morphs that shoes don't so you'll have to work with the morphs for clothing which aren't included in this tutorial.

Clone CAS Item
Note that CAS items for Young adult, Adult and Elder are the same size.
For this demonstration, I cloned a pair of ballet flats because they are closest in shape to the Bellini's I want to make. I will have to make some mesh modifications and redo the UV map. The inspiration model is shown on the right. |
