TSR's modding tools produce Sims3Pack format files. MTS accepts only Package format files. There are a few different methods for converting .Sims3Pack to .package; choose whichever you find most convenient.

  • When you install a Sims3Pack using the Launcher, it creates a .package file in My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/DCBackup. They're all inscrutably named though, with a long string of letters and numbers. You can just rename your .package file from that folder (if you just installed it, sort the folder by date and it should be the last one).
  • Or, use Delphy's Sims3Pack Multi Installer to extract the .package from the .sims3pack. (Especially useful if you have several .sims3pack files in a folder). You'll still have to rename it.
