No CD Build Mode Issue DISCUSSION

The following should be added as a solution:
Rather then using a No-CD crack, the Sims 2 Store Edition can be used if one is NOT using a Mac. This program is downloaded FREE from the EA Downloader and will allow the game to be played without a CD and will not cause building problems. A valid EA account is necessary. By registering for the game (separate from EA), one can download the Sims 2 Store Edition along with EA Download Manager, which can be separately downloaded here: http://eastore.ea.com/store/ea/html/pbPage.welcome or on the link on this page: http://thesims2store.ea.com/help.html, by clicking on "download the EADM"
Also note, it will also 'patch' your game by enabling some features of some expansion packs, as I could see other lots of the neighborhood after I installed it and before newer expansion packs. The program is free to play and download, unless objects or clothing is bought from the Sims 2 Store. No credit card is needed to set up or play the game unless one wishes to purchase.
