Boarding Schools
Sending children and teenagers to a boarding school is a new option for your Sims' education.
- Benefits
- Sims will have their "negative" traits (a.k.a. offensive traits) changed to a school specific trait (70% daily chance)
- Sims will acquire (80% daily chance) and improve (50% daily chance) school specific skills
- Sims may receive rewards (money or objects)
- Graduated Sims will start they career in level 2 if the career is one of the recommended occupations
- Drawbacks
- Sims spend all their childhood/teenage years in the boarding school
- Sims may call their parents to ask for money or to tell them they are homesick
While children may build up to three skills and reach level 2 in each one, teenagers may acquire 4 skills and reach level 4 in each.
