Patch 5.4.4 for FLS
Due to the 5.3 update (which supposedly does not affect games in English Language), I couldn't find a link for 5.4 from 5.0, or the "from any" links as for AMB or the base game. Hopefully, y'all have a later pack so this won't be an issue. If your last pack is FLS, wait a day or so for EA to realize their mistake and correct this, or raise a support ticket and write in the Mac EA forums.
Let me know in here or via PM if any of the links are broken, I had verified them before saving the page, but in case things are changed by EA, I don't check the patch links page every day... :)

What's the use of the MD5 checksum
I wrote a guide on how to use an MD5 checker for Windows systems when we need to check for CAW versions. The same concept applies when downloading huge files as the transmission can be cut off or corrupted. One way to ensure the .tgz file is intact and downloads fully without any missing or corrupt bits, is to verify the md5 value of the file matches the md5 value in the checksum link I included, before you run and apply the patch. Mac OSX has this built-in into the OS, you don't need a separate utility to download.
If the checksum is different, you run the danger of corrupting your Sims install, and/or possibly your OSX system. I provide the links from EA themselves, so you can be sure these checksums are from source, as are the patch files.
If you update via Launcher, you won't be able to do this.
