[edit] Step 2: Required Tools
[edit] For this Tutorial you will need:
- SimPE by Quaxi
- S3PE - Sims 3 Package Editor, by Inge & Peter
- S3OC - Sims3 Object Cloner, by Inge & Peter
- Sims 3 Object Tools and Milkshape Object plugins by WesHowe
- Milkshape
- Tiggerypum's Textures for UV maps
- Adobe Photoshop
- Some kind of screen capture software such as Snagit, Windows snipping tool, etc.
- Desert Landscape by Macarossi AND, most importantly, a TS2 mesh that you want to convert for TS3. You can extract the Dragon Tree from Macarossi's Desert Landscape collection if you want to follow along.
Note: There are other tools you can use, (TSR workshop, Blender, Gimp, etc.) But I don't use them so some other creators will have to add the instructions for those tools.
