Sewing

You start out here by making craploads of potholders, and then you get a bronze badge and you can make bigger and bigger things, and at a gold badge you can make customized clothing, from edited OFB meshes and a handful of textures.

Pottery

This is where you can use a pottery wheel to make things like plates. These pottery things have no purpose, they are all decor.

Car Restoration

This is where you buy a piece of crap car and refurbish it, and then paint it. You can gain a lot of Tinkering interest by doing this and it is a good way to earn simoleons because you can sell the finished car for more than the original cost.

Ballet

This is where you change into your ballet outfit and dance. You gain music and dance interest by doing this, but no money.

Sports

So far there are only basketball and soccer, but there is a hockey stick decor item you can buy however there is no hockey, unless you had the free time to muck around with the soccer net and its mesh, so on and so forth.

Mr. Humble

Mr. Humble is a selfsim of Rod Humble, the man who works for the sims 2. He stops by at every house starting out and gives them a computer. If you start it up it will show you a very small preview of the Sims 3.
