Sewing

Need some extra income? Sit yourself down at a sewing machine and get to work. From the easiest and least profitable potholders to a full size quilt, sewing can be the answer to your financial difficulties.

No Badge Potholder (red, green, or black)costs 40 - is sold for 50

Bronze Badge Shiny Sewn Curtain (silver, gold, or royal) costs 180 - is sold for 300 Little Bear Boo Teddy Bear (green patchwork, blue patchwork, brown patchwork) costs 56 - is sold for 80 Shiny Wide Sewn Curtain (silver, gold, or royal) cost 225 - is sold for 375

Silver Badge Quilt (green tones, pink tones, purple tones) costs 450 - is sold for 900 Clothing (Everyday, Swimwear, PJ's, Gym Clothes, Formal, Undies) all cost 120 and can be sold for 400 You can make any item, for any age group, that is available in the expansion packs you own.

Gold Badge Custom Outfit - with the custom outfit, for 75, you can make an outfit for any age group or sex. Each age/gender combination has a pattern that is composed of 3 parts. For each part, you have a choice of six fabrics. I will try and generate pictures of each of the adult male and female to start but obviously with 6 choices in 3 spots, that's an awful lot of sewing and I think my fingers may get sore.

Pottery

This is where you can use a pottery wheel to make things, like plates. These pottery items have no purpose; they are all decor.

Car Restoration

This is where you buy a piece of crap car, refurbish it, and then paint it. You can gain a lot of tinkering interest by doing this, and it is a good way to earn Simoleons because you can sell the finished car for more than the original cost.

Ballet

This is where you change into your ballet outfit and dance. You gain music and dance interest by doing this, but no money.

Sports

Sims can toss a football, play catch, basketball and soccer. There is a hockey stick decor item you can buy, however there is no way for Sims to play hockey at this time.

Mr. Humble

Mr. Humble is a self-sim of Rod Humble, executive producer for The Sims 2 & 3. When you play a family for the first time, he drops by the house and leaves a computer by the door. This unique computer allows the a Sim to play The Sims 3, and will show a short preview the game.
