Resurrection

In order to resurrect a sim from the dead, you'll need the Resurrect-O-Nomitron. It's a career reward object from the Paranormal career (also added in University) and awarded at level 5. You can also use a cheat to unlock the career rewards, so you don't have to send a sim through University and put them in the Paranormal career track just to resurrect someone.

Your sim will need to know the dead sim that you want to bring back. A tombstone must exist on the lot or another lot in the same neighborhood.

Amount Spent Result
1 - 987 Failed resurrection. Amount spent is lost.
988 - 4127 Sim comes back as a zombie. For more information on zombies, see: Game Help:Zombies.
4128 - 8512 Sim returns as a normal sim, but they lose skill points and have a reverse personality.
8513 - 10000 Perfect resurrection. The sim returns exactly as they were before, with the same personality and skill points.
